Owen admit that Chicharito is better than him

Michael Owen is having tough time to be picked as the first eleven player of Manchester United. One of the reason is because the presence of Chicharito whom Owen himself judged that Chicharito is better than him.

Chicharito was signed in as a zero, but now he made it to the first eleven squad. He’s playing in Dimitar Berbatov’s position, dueling with Rooney.

Where could Owen play? The 31 years old striker has few chances of playing. He was in the starting line-up once, but he was put on the bench for the other 9 games.

The number of goals scored by Owen is far below the number of goals scored by Javier Hernandez (Chicharito). The ex-Newcastle United player has scored once in the English Premier League and the FA Cup, this season, and 2 in the English League Cup.

“Chicharito is of course 10 years younger than I am. So, he’s the better version of Michael Owen, now,” said Owen in the SkySports.

“He’s a very sharp player and fun. Although its not too important too people as they see only the goals scored. However, its important for the people around him and the club,” added Owen.
