Hodgson except a commitment from Torres

Roy Hodgson admitted not to talk directly with Fernando Torres. But the Liverpool manager is hoping Torres still remains his future at Anfield.
Torres is currently the target of speculation this summer.
Spanish international striker is rumored to be leaving the Reds at the time of the player transfer window opened earlier this season.

Moreover, Manchester City, Chelsea and Barcelona reportedly interested in getting signatures Torres.
While Liverpool this season will not be performing in the Champions League and has been abandoned by Rafael Benitez.

But Hodgson hoping Torres stayed at Anfield. Although not speaking directly with Torres but Liverpool is the new manager said that chief executives had met Christian Purslow.
