Barca record is break by Messi

Lionel Messi’s 31st opener against Copenhagen in Champions League game made him the top goal scorer in European competition for the Catalan club; although his team end up tie against Copehagen.

Messi’s 32nd goals take him to past the previos record holder in Barcelona, Rivaldo, he stroke 31 goals during his time.

The player reached another curious landmark this week – bringing up his 100th goal since Pep Guardiola took over as team coach. The three-figure mark was reached in 117 matches and now Messi, whose overall tally for the club stands at 142: 95 in the Liga BBVA, 10 in the Copa del Rey, 30 in the Champions League, five in the Spanish Supercup and two in the FIFA Club World Cup.

Pulis: Gudjohnsen is not ready

Eidur Gudjohnsen, the 32 years old forward who joined Stoke City on a free transfer in the last summer from AS Monaco.

He had been playing for four appearances in the Premier League for the club, but yet he hasn’t make a start for his team.

Pulis said, “His weight is still a bit up on what it needs to be. Hopefully sometime in December we should have him up and running.”
