Arsenal is targeting Stevan Jovetic

It was reported that Arsenal firing any chance to recruit Stevan Jovetic from Fiorentina, even he just signed a contract with his current club.

Arsene Wenger knows well that Robin Van Persie needs another forward who can support him to score goals. Meanwhile, Maroune Chamakh looks like to be sell, and Park Chu Young who has not been adapting to the style Arsenal is playing.

Altough Jovetic is still 21 years old, he is judged as a professional by Wenger. He is also the best candidate to solve the solution for Arsenal forwards, especially that he is multifunction. Jovetic can play as a winger and a playmaker as well.

In the last season, he did not play much because he had a serious injury, but he was really on fire on his comeback this current season.

However, it is not Arsenal only that is interested in Stevan, there are still two gigantic English Premier League clubs that looks like to be interested in recruiting him. The two clubs are no other than Chelsea F.C. and Liverpool, and it was reported that Arsenal will bid again in the January for £ 20 000 000.

Harry Redknapp is interested to get Joe Cole

Joe Cole has become one of the players to be sign before the closing of the summer transfer window. Harry Redknapp is interested in the ability and potentials have in the Liverpool player, Joe Cole.

Steven Gerrard can't wait for the new player

In the in coming season 2011/2012, just like the other clubs, Liverpool is busy strengthening its offensive squad. So far, they got Jordan Henderson that will be joining The Reds in the next season.

It’s for sure that Jordan Henderson is not the last player will be signed by Liverpool in this summer, and Steven Gerrard welcome them with enthusiasm.

In addition, the new players can boost up enthusiasm and spirit to face the new season.

“It is very important for the team to recruit new players as soon as possible because we have not contributed any titles or cups to the team for the past few years, and it’s the way how Liverpool rolls,” claimed by Liverpool’s captain, Steven Gerrard.

“As a fan and player for Liverpool, it’s frustrating to see our rival, Manchester United to pick up their league champion titles, but you have to give credit to them. They have won the titles and passed our league titles collection record.”

Gerrard did not regret for rejecting offers from Chelsea and Real Madrid

Liverpool’s captain, Steven Gerrad confessed that he’s glad that he can stay in Liverpool and did not accept the offers from Chelsea and Real Madrid.

Gerrard confessed this statement because he was offered by Chelsea and one of the biggest club in Spain, Real Madrid.

“I still remember when the two clubs were interested in me, but I’m glad that I’ve made the right decision to stay in Anfield,” said Gerrard.

Gerrard is now recovering from his injury and he was not called by Capello to the national team against Wales and Ghana.

Capello had also chose Gerrard as the third captain for England after John Terry and Rio Ferdinand.

Liverpool shuts Chelsea and Torres down

Finally, Liverpool can shut The Blues and Torres down. Thanks to the goal from Raul Meireles.

The defeat of Manchester United made Chelsea want to win this match. The Tridente, Didier Drogba, Nicolas Anelka and Fernando Torres looks very energetic in the first minute. Especially Torres who takes a shot just after the game started for two minutes, but the goal went far above The Reds goalpost as El Nino too eager.

The strategy used by the gaffer of Liverpool, Kenny Dalglish was 3 centre defenders and 5 midfielders, 3-5-1-1. It’s a good formation, although they kept Luis Suarez on the bench.

As the first went through without any single goal made, Ancelotti made a decision to took out Torres and substituted with Salomon Kalou. However it turns out not as what Ancelotti expected, Raul Meireles scored a goal though an assist from Steven Gerrard.

The score remained the same until the end of the game. Liverpool has gone up to 6th in the English Premier League. While Chelsea is in the 4th with 10 points difference from Manchester United.

Mourinho want to recruit Steven Gerrard in the next summer

Jose Mourinho will try to recruit Steven Gerrard from Liverpool again in the next summer.

The Daily Sport said if Mourinho will stay in Real Madrid next season, he will persuade the president of Los Blancos, Florentino Perez to sign Steven Gerrard for next season.

It’s not a secret anymore that The Special One is a great fan of Steven Gerrard, since he managed Chelsea. With the fact of Fernando Torres released from Liverpool to Chelsea, there’s a lot of claim that Steven Gerrard will think about his future again in Liverpool.

After succeed loaning Adebayor from Manchester City and persuade Perez for the transfer. Now, Mourinho feel that the Real Madrid is wise enough for him to do transferring, and he will ask for the signing of Gerrard to strengthen the squad to be able to be on the same level with FC Barcelona.

Review: Thanks to Suarez's first goal

Liverpool won by 2-0 over Birmingham City. The two goals were contributed by Raul Meireles and their new player, Luis Suarez.

Torres is Chelsea's, Carroll is Liverpool's

Liverpool is officially broke the transfer record by signing in Andy Carroll from Newcastle United with an amount of 35 million pounds. This thing makes The Reds have to release Fernando Torres to Chelsea with an agreement of 50 million pounds, which also broke the transfer record of Chelsea. Both players are contracted with 5 and a half years contract.

Few days ago, The Reds rejected the offer from Chelsea for Torres until Torres, himself want Liverpool to release him. Seeing Torres who cannot be keep again, The Reds turn to get Andy Carroll who said to change for losing their striker, Fernando Torres.

The bid from Liverpool, 30 million pounds were rejected by The Magpies. However, Liveprool came up with a new amount of bid, 35 million pounds. Newcastle United was about to reject the second from Liverpool, but Andy want The Magpies to release to Liverpool, and The Magpies have to agree the offer Liverpool.

Chelsea bid Torres for £40 million

Chelsea is not meeting their expectation in this month transfer window, but now they bid a huge amount for Fernando Torres, £40 million.

Roman Abramovich himself want Chelsea to focus on their transfer for Fernando Torres.

However, on the side of Liverpool, they are not ready to release El Nino.

A source from inside of the club says, “Liverpool just got a bid from Chelsea for Torres, but we reject it, as Torres is not for sale.”

Abramovich is known that he’s hard-headed. If he took part of getting player in the transfer list, he usually does not want to fail to get the player.

To make sure, Chelsea is about to increase their bid up to £50 million. The reason is, Torres himself was given the permission to leave by the next season.

Deadline for Liverpool

Ajax Amsterdam wants Liverpool to finish the transfer process of Luis Suarez before 29th January, if they are serious to buy the Uruguayan player.

Besides stating the deadline, Ajax also cleared their statement that they won’t change the price for Luis Suarez.

“We don’t want to lose him just like that,” said Frank De Boer.

“Liverpool has already known the price they have to pay for that decent striker, and we will still put the same price.”

Ajax set the price of Suarez for 21 million pounds. However, Liverpool has only just bid up to 13 million pounds.

Review: Chelsea became the turning point for Liverpool

Just after winning the last 3 matches in a row, The Reds that looks like that they were given motivational boost. They have been playing kick and rush style and made Chelsea had to run around.

Pressures keeps on coming to The Reds, but then they made themselves leading in the game. Fernando Torres turned the through pass from Dirk Kuyt into a goal for Liverpool.

When Chelsea was coming back on track, El Nino (Fernando Torres) produced another point into Chelsea’s net. Then the first half was closed for 2-0, The Reds were leading by 2.

In the second half, Carlo take in his key player, Didier Drogba. In the 60th minutes of the game, a powerful left foot shot was released by Didier Drogba, but Reina still made it. In the 85th minutes, another shot was released by Anelka,but it was punched by Reina again and hit the crossbar.

Liverpool almost made the third point by Maxi Rodriguez, but then Maxi failed to make the score into 3. The Reds were still leading in that time of the game and they waited for the referee to blow the wistle for the end of the game. Another 3 points made them to be in the 9th standing of the Premier League. Although The Blues lost, they are still in the 1st standing in the Premier League, but their position is not safe, they are just 2 points above Manchester United.

If Torres had to quit, Liverpool will sign Llorente

Liverpool was reported in signing Fernando Llorente from Athletic Bilbao if Torres will be leaving this January transfer window.

Torres has been wanted by Barcelona and Manchester City since long time ago as his career is not successful in Liverpool. So far, this season, Liverpool had shown bad quality of playing in neither the Premier League nor the English Cup, and that makes Torres want to leave the Reds.

Steven Gerrard and Fernando Torres are not for sale.
